Hi, I’m Brittney! An Aussie living in Amsterdam, making my way through the city one bitterbal at a time.

I’m a passionate designer, big joke teller, terrible shower singer, always curious and forever learning... among many other things, of course.

Currently, I’m Head of Creative BUC at TomTom, where I'm super proud to have transformed both their branding and in-house team. I'm a passionate mentor and manager and as a team we are delivering creatives we are all truly proud of and they are performing really really well! (WIN/WIN) All whilst injecting a bit of chaos, the good kind of course!

Before that, I was the Creative Lead at Swapfiets, the blue-tired bike brand shaking up the world of biking and circular design. There I established and managed the in-house creative team and had a lot of fun doing so.

Prior to moving to the Netherlands, I spent over six years designing for adidas in Melbourne, creating iconic sportswear and bringing major campaigns to life. I've gotta admit, that was a special time in my life, seeing my football kits worn by some of Australias best athelete and 1000's of the most passionate supporters is really what showed me the power of emotion in design, no matter how big or small.

Outside of work, I do stand-up comedy and co-host a podcast called andnext with my best friend, where we try out new hobbies around Amsterdam (with varying levels of success). When I’m not writing jokes or failing at pottery, I’m hanging out with my dog Elvis (aka best friend) going for long walks or playing fetch in Westerpark

I love working with open-minded, collaborative people and brands to create work that connects, tells a story and most importantly makes you feel something.

I’m currently on the brand side at TomTom as Head of Creative BUC, leading and mentoring a ridiculously talented and diverse team in our in-house design studio. We do it all...major campaigns, product launches, CRM, social content, performance marketing, you name it - we’re on it! I’m super proud to be part of this global legacy brand and to have helped it step into a new era, connect with a younger audience and refresh its vibe.

I worked brand-side for Swapfiets as the Creative Lead, managing a team of creatives in the in-house design studio. Together, we produced a wide range of marketing materials, from major campaigns to retail collateral. Working in a fast-paced, start-up environment helped me develop new skills quickly, implement new processes, and contribute to business growth through marketing. Before that, I was the Senior Graphic Designer at Swapfiets for two years, where I led the brand refresh, created the style and brand guidelines, and produced all digital and print assets for the brand.

As a side gig, I've worked for over 5 years as a freelance graphic designer and visual artist for individuals to large companies. I love working with different people to help bring their ideas to life. Some of my clients include: Victoria Bitter, adidas, Bae the Label, Hey Chef, Insight, Dial-Up, Peak, Tale of Two, Vetjebol.

At 21 I started my design career at adidas after graduating from Fashion Design. I was responsible for creating sportswear designs for some of the biggest teams within Australia/New Zealand and beyond. After working in apparel design for 4 years it was time for a change and I found new energy and passion for graphic design, so I accepted a full time position within the brand team. My graphic output varied from major campaigns to reactive social content. Working in small team in a fast paced environment allowed me to grow quickly & have ownership/impact across many different functions.
